Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam having Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots deep in the American South. Olivia was two years old when her parents divorced. She is now raised by her stepfather and mom. He's a United States Air Force soldier. Olivia was primarily raised in Tokyo within Japan. While the family moved out of Oklahoma and to numerous other areas, it was in Tokyo that she received the bulk of her education. During that time she took part in numerous performances of the local theater, and eventually became a Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia has moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actor, continued to work towards this goal when the family moved back to America. After playing a couple of parts, her career took another promising step when she landed the role of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused television series Beyond the Break (2006) and the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She is the host of "The Daily Nut", "Formula D", and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Her love of surfing has been evident following the television show Beyond the Break. Additionally, she has earned an black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of 2000, at the age of two, of age, her mother got married. Her family was primarily from Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather worked. She completed her journalism studies at the University of Oklahoma and also minored Japanese as well as dramatic arts and acting.
