Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was part of two episodes on the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her role was selected to play the leading character on the Australian soap opera Home and Away as her performance on this particular part was so captivating that the casting agents requested her for the various parts. Though she was able to audition for the role, it was not selected. The role was instead set in the show in the role of Cassie Turner, a young struggling girl living in foster care. Her role was so much liked by fans as well as viewers who watched the series.
